Title: A Fantastic Family Getaway

For dads, it would be great if the hotel had a designated play area for children.

We stayed at Auberge Saint Martin for 3 nights while attending the Pôle Equestre in the area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we were grateful for the heater on the chilly evenings. The shower was surprisingly powerful and refreshing. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast with divine coffee. The friendly hosts made us feel like part of the family, and we enjoyed the local food and excellent selection of wines. The best part was opening our bedroom window to a picturesque countryside with farm animals grazing nearby.

We would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Excellent service: The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. They were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. It felt like they were treating me like royalty!

Limited seafood options: While the overall dining experience was fantastic, I would have loved to see more seafood options on the menu. Although the cod in curry sauce was marvellous, a wider selection of seafood dishes would have been the icing on the cake.

stayed in surville for wedding, auberge saint martin pleasantly surprised me. big rooms, delicious local food & wines, friendly hosts. english speaking. enjoyed local apple juice with breakfast, cider & calvados with dinner. family atmosphere. exceeded my expectations.

slight musty odor

We stayed in a spacious room that comfortably fit 2 adults and 3 children. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the room had plenty of space. The location of the hotel is great, as it is conveniently located near motorway links, making it easy to get to and from. The breakfast, although light, included a variety of breads, pastries, and jams. The hotel also offers free wifi, which was a nice bonus.

We did notice that outside of all the bedrooms, there were overflowing cigarette stub tubes that did not appear to have been emptied in quite some time.

A simple hotel that serves good food, however, we were in a "new" room. The wardrobe that had been ordered hadn't arrived and there was no light in the toilet. It shortly became clean that the toilet was blocking and couldn't be used. We had no hot water for a shower on our last day's stay. I'll recommend this hotel for its decent food and service, despite some room issues.

A lovely countryside location, perfect for exploring the region. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the option to relax on the terrace or in the garden. The regional cuisine at the onsite restaurant was a delightful experience.

I found it so thrilling to discover a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, a security system, and a first aid kit at the property. Who needs ambiance when you can have safety?

Super friendly staff, delicious food, great breakfast, light and pleasant rooms, convenient location. Free wi-fi, parking, bar, restaurant, welcome drink. Activities for hiking, cycling, fishing. Children's menu, board games, pet-friendly, no smoking.

The dinner and breakfast were good, with a variety of options to choose from. the location of the hotel was convenient, close to attractions and activities in the area. the room was fairly clean and comfortable.

The reception was cold and unwelcoming, and the room had a musty smell. the bathroom was problematic, lacking a shower curtain and with a faulty toilet cistern float.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly atmosphere at Auberge Saint Martin. The breakfast, although a bit expensive, was sufficient and the coffee was delicious. The location was perfect for our short stay, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The rooms, although in need of some updating, were clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this budget-friendly hotel for its friendly staff, good location, and comfortable accommodations.
